Quote Guru Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Quote Guru. Quote Guru is Windows desktop software that machine shops use to build part quotes. It is sold by PHX Rapid Engineering LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using Quote Guru, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

Your license

When you buy Quote Guru, we give you a limited license to use it. Here is what that means:

  • One user, one PC. Each license lets one person install and use Quote Guru on one Windows computer.

  • Non-transferable. You may not give, sell, lend, or transfer your license to anyone else.

  • No resale. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, or share Quote Guru or your license key.

  • No reverse engineering. You may not copy, change, decompile, disassemble, or try to get the source code of Quote Guru, except where the law clearly allows it.

  • We keep ownership. You are buying a license to use the software, not the software itself. We own Quote Guru and all rights to it.

Need Quote Guru on more than one PC? Buy one license for each PC.

If you replace your computer, contact us and we can help you move your license to the new PC.

Free trial

You can try Quote Guru free for 14 days before you buy. The trial lets you test the software in your own shop and decide if it fits your needs.

No payment card is needed for the trial. Nothing is charged unless you choose to buy a license.

When the trial ends, you need to buy a license to keep using Quote Guru.

Price and payment

  • Quote Guru costs $199 (USD), one time, for 1 license on 1 PC.

  • There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

  • Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our online reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, handles sales tax or VAT where it applies, and sends your receipt. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's own terms.

Updates

All Quote Guru customers get updates for free. We may add, change, or remove features in updates.

We will try to keep Quote Guru working well, but we cannot promise a specific update schedule or that any particular feature will be added.

Refunds

All sales are final after purchase. Please see our Refund Policy at phxrapid.com/refund-policy for details and the limited exceptions.

Your quotes are your responsibility

Quote Guru helps you build quotes. The prices, times, and other numbers it produces are estimates only. They depend on the rates, settings, and data you enter.

You are fully responsible for:

  • checking every quote before you send it,

  • the prices you charge your customers, and

  • any business decisions you make based on Quote Guru's output.

We are not responsible for lost profit, underpriced jobs, or other losses caused by a quote made with Quote Guru.

No warranty

Quote Guru is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not promise that Quote Guru will be error-free, run without interruption, or work with every computer setup.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, even if we were told these were possible.

  • Our total liability for any claim about Quote Guru or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. If so, these limits apply only as far as the law allows.

Termination

Your license lasts until it ends under these terms. If you break these terms, we may end your license. If your license ends, you must stop using Quote Guru and delete all copies of it.

The sections on ownership, your responsibility for quotes, no warranty, limitation of liability, and governing law still apply after your license ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.

If you keep using Quote Guru after changes are posted, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute about these terms or Quote Guru will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
